To improve is to change,

To be perfect is to have change often.

1. Positive Emotions

Positive emotions help you to:

a. Survive

Golden statement:

Wear your mask first and then help others.

It means developing the self-care emotion to take care of yourself and others.

This helps you to develop the emotion of care which is important for your survival.

b. Thrive

Whether you are a student or a working professional you always have a competitive spirit. This not only helps you to be focused but also be ethical in your actions.

This releases happy emotions in your brain and it always keeps you motivated to achieve goals. You should pay attention to your motivation points.

c. Avoid danger

For example:

As a maintenance officer, if you smell something burning in your office and find fire in transformer cables, you will switch off the power supply of the office and save it from a major disaster.

In this case, your sense of smell helped you in avoiding a big danger.
d. Allow other people to understand you and vice-versa

For example:

At the time of performance appraisal discussion with your employees, you get aware of the following things:

Connection of employee with his/her job
Challenges employee faces in performing his/her job
Competitive emotion of employee
Fear of losing a job due to low performance
Satisfaction emotion of employee
Expectations of the employer from the employee
In this case, the discussion helps employers and employees to understand each other and develop a strong connection between them.

This spreads positive emotions in the entire office and creates a positive environment.
